Pretty much everyone knows about lithium-ion batteries these days. If you own a cell phone, you’re probably carrying one around with you. They are the most commonly used in small electronics as rechargeable batteries. They are relatively small, offer the best in energy density, have no effect on portable electronics’ memories, and are slow to loose their charge when it’s not being used.
