Japanese carmaker Honda has proposed to reduce the global carbon dioxide emissions of its cars by 30% by 2020 compared to 2000. In 2006 Honda announced it would reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 10% by the end of 2010, compared to the reference year, 2000, a goal reached by the Japanese company on all its models. Also, Honda wants to reduce carbon dioxide emissions resulted during production and supplying.

The New Electric Volkswagen Golf Starts New Series of Tests

Volkswagen starts a new session of tests on the prototype Golf blue-e-motion, the electric version of the popular German car. They will ride through three German cities.

Volkswagen launched the second phase of testing the prototype version of the Golf, the electric derivate of the popular compact car. The new zero-emission fleet will total 80 sample cars that will arrive in cities like Berlin (53 of them), Hanover and Wolfsburg.
