Lexus introduced a teaser of the concept that will be exhibited at the Detroit Auto Show in Detroit. The model could be a younger brother of the Lexus LF-A, based on the new Toyota GT-86.

Lexus will bring at the Detroit Auto Show a new concept car, which has been announced through a teaser. The first picture shows an optical block and a part of a front bumper. That concept prefigures the future design of those from Lexus, which was made in the design studio in Calty, New Beach, California.
However, one hypothesis concerns a Lexus version of Toyota GT-86. Those from Lexus have developed their own versions of Toyota models with its own design, and the new GT-86 has no reason to be excluded from this “program”. Some voices are announcing a successor of Lexus SC, but this information was not confirmed by any official of the Japanese brand.
Toyota GT-86 is jointly developed with Subaru and made its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show. The model is equipped with a two-liter boxer engine and develops 200 hp and 205 Nm. GT-86 is a name inspired from brand’s history and reminds of the famous 1980 Corolla GT AE86. The new creation of those from Toyota already has three versions: Scion, Subaru and Toyota.
